As a fan of the writing duo of Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale in their Wolf Ranch series, I was excited to see a new series, Two Marks. Once again, these two talented ladies delivered a fantastic story, but one with a nice twist, two shifters who together claim one she-wolf.“We carried the same scent gene, meaning we claimed one female together, just like all males in our lineage, our pack.”“Unlike most shifters, we share it. That’s how our she-wolf knows she belongs to both of us. It’s always why this is intense for you. This sticky honey—proves you’ve surrendered. You know you’re ours.”The story’s plot will bring Gibson and Ben, from the Cowboy Ridge Pack in Wyoming to Montana, to claim their fated mate, Shelby. When Ben was helping with an Enforcer job, he caught her scent, but duty called. Now, he and his Alpha, Gibson, have come to find and claim their mate. Finding Shelby working in Hoedown, a strip club, doesn’t make them happy, and with her being a wolf, she scents them immediately. Dressed in a naughty school-girl outfit and dancing on stage will have these two mates having to restrain themselves. Taking Shelby to the VIP room will come with some surprises—she will learn that they both are her fated-mates.“Naughty little she-wolf. Forever.”Notes: This story was one of the ones featured in the Dirty Daddies 2020 Anthology and was a Daddy Dom/little girl story—but it has been revamped for this new series and does not contain the DD/lg trope. If I have any critism of Untamed is that I wanted it to be longer, because I felt Ben and Gibson's characters were only starting to be fleshed out. Shelby, if you've read the Wolf Ranch series, is a character that you get to know in more depth. It's a good introduction into the new series. It highlights the level of steam, very very hot, and the fact that it is a shifter menage series. Fans of Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale will eat this series up. I have to give these two ladies credit they write really well together. All together I'm really looking forward to this series.
